I am an experienced qualified and Registered counsellor /psychotherapist working from a private, confidential consulting room in Essex House, Ongar. I am on the accredited registered of the B.A.C.P.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
I love working with people and know this is my vocation. My approach in the way I work, is helping you to understand more about your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
I hold a strong belief that people can change, if they want to. My personal experience of this work continually helps me to enrich my life.
Since 1998, I have been actively involved in my own personal development and in 2002 I began my counselling skills and theory studies. A year later I started my psychotherapy training.
I am qualified and experienced, with training being experientially based from a wide range of therapeutic theories and practises.
In 2005 I gained experience working for Whipps Cross University Hospital in the Psychological Support Services. After that I gained experience working with ADAS I set up my private practice.
I want to deepen and enjoy the excitement I feel about life, including being present in the way I work with each person. Working in ways in which I can be effective and true to myself. The desire to enable clients feel more satisfaction and happiness and understanding themselves better is the focus and purpose in my work. The privilege to witness those changes that often happen, I fully appreciate and hold special.
Since 2002 I have been in constant professional training and attend regular ongoing supervision and post-qualification professional trainings.
I appreciate and respect a person's confidentiality and boundaries.
I bring all that I have learned in my life and my training to my work with each person. Being respectful and abiding by the B.A.C.P (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) Code of Ethics. I hold professional liability insurance and have received referrals from local doctors.
I work with people one to one for short or long term therapy.
